St. Paddy's day!!!

OO St Patrick's day was very interesting to say the least. Our plans were very simple- go to Hanley for the "kiss me Im Irish" pub crawl, get everyone totally hammered (except the sober sister, which is me of course) and celebrate St Patrick's day like it was ment to be celebrated. For the most part it was a very successful night. Jess, Alex, Lauren, Mike and I had an amazing time pub crawling in Hanley-got a free tattoo, whistle, cow boy hat, sugar floss and basically danced the night away with the occassinal wtf just happened moments.



Unfortunately the same can not be said for Chrissy and Danny. For some reason Danny thought it would be a really good idea to drink half a liter of vodka (40%) in 20 minutes. Just so you know this was not a really good idea. We got to Hanley, he opened the door to get out of the taxi and literally rolled to the pavement. It would have been funny if he had not gashed open his head. He and Chrissy spent 11 1/2 hours in A and E (the emergency room) with Chrissy coming back with many funny stories. Life is truly never boring when you live/associate with the girls of Lindsay O block.

#1 Climb to the top of the monument



I have wanted to do this for a very very long time now and I am so glad that I finally did. It was such an amazing view from the top and I even got a certificate saying that I did it!

I actually did this back in November but forgot I had. It was after the Harry Potter premier and I was headed back to my hotel and this girl came on the tube carrying signs from the premier and so we chatted about how awesome it was.

I was actually dissapointed by the Tate Modern but you know atleast now I can say I have been there :)
