“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."-Mark Twain

It has been awhile

I totally gave up on this blog when I got back to the U.S of A cuz well life isnt quite that exciting here. But since im headed back to my home in England in 65 DAYS, I thought i would start it up again. So a quick catch up since last July. Started school again, maybe freaking out a little that i graduate in December. what is the real world and how do i avoid joining it?!?!?!? I got a new job... kind of. I still work for the wonderful world of Barnes and Noble but i now work in the west jordan store in charge of the childrens department. it keeps me pretty busy running around the store like mad trying to get everything done. But it is fun and i love it and my manager monica. even though she tricked me into transferring there.
In October I went back to England for a few weeks to hang out with the Lindsay O family and to celebrate James' birthday. such an old man he is. I spent the entire 2 weeks not doing any school work, or going to class and just chilling with Alex, lauren, mike, james and everyone else there. it was a lot of fun and it was hard to come back to utah. but i have a key to 75 clare street so i know im welcome back at anytime. which is good cuz they are stuck with me.
Then over thanksgiving break i went to new york with chrissy. She was doing a study abroad in North carolina and we had to do new york. Jess (who was studying in canada) was supposed to join us but she has other friends and bailed out. But new york was a lot of fun. first night we went to times square and it was gorgeous. everything is huge and all lite up. M&m world was amazing. toys r us had a ferris wheel in it. crazy times. we went to the thanksgiving day parade which was actually pretty awesome even if confetti kept getting thrown in my face. we got lost in central park, went to the met (which you can not do in 3 hours) 5 1/2 hours later we ran out not even bothering with the upstairs, gasping for air. and then we had a new york hot dog and wanted to vomit. chrissy had her first slurpee and is now converted to their heavenliness. we went to ground zero which was so incredibly eerie to be on. we saw the statue of liberty and danced across the brooklyn bridge. we basically spent the entire time walking the entire island and it was so much fun. every night we got back to the hotel and just passed out. we even went and saw santa claus!!! we are way too cool for words. and then we both kind of cried when we had to seperate to go home. chrissy and I have separation issues.
I am now finally 21!!! so excited about that. finishing up my second to last semester in school and working like a crazed lunatic. I am buzzing about going back home and seeing everyone. I miss the family like crazy and some crazy times lie ahead.
While i am there this summer i am chilling out while they all study for their finals, going to manchester with lauren cuz she has never been. stalking rupert grint with lauren because we can. Going to aberdeen to visit my friend grant who is taking me to a pub hat looks like hogwarts :O. going to laura's wedding, which i think i am most excited about. hanging out at the hancox's for crazy amounts of time because they love me and have adopted me into their family. hanging out in london a lot. going to brighton. going on some crazy trips with morgan who is flying over for graduation. going to the olympic festival. spending a night wandering the streets of london. ooo it is going to be a crazy summer. 66 days and it begins!!!!!
